Background on Krisa Sweeney:

Krisa’s journey began in Massachusetts, where she was raised by both parents and spent her childhood exploring the outdoors. Her early experiences helping her grandparents in the garden and collecting chicken eggs instilled in her a love for nature and simple, healthy living. Despite facing family challenges, including mental illness and substance abuse, Krisa found solace in focusing on health and wellness from a young age.

Her passion for motocross racing, supported by her parents, led to a successful amateur and professional career. After retiring from racing due to health concerns, Krisa pursued her interest in sustainable farming and permaculture. She studied sustainable farming and food systems in college, falling in love with permaculture design, which emphasizes sustainable and harmonious living.

Krisa’s hands-on experience includes working on various sustainable farms, milking cows, making cheese, processing chickens, and selling produce at farmers’ markets. In 2016, she moved to Colorado to start her off-grid, sustainable living dream, applying permaculture principles to her own plot of land.

Today, Krisa is a single mother dedicated to raising her children naturally and organically. She has successfully practiced home water births, learned hypnobirthing, and continues to prioritize her children’s health and wellness. Krisa has also studied homeopathy and sound healing, further enriching her holistic health knowledge.
